Teacher Handbook for Reading - German Language Arts 2005 Grade 7

Through Edmonton Public Schools’ District-wide Focus on Reading, teachers, principals and central staff have worked together to develop curriculum-aligned grade-level reading support materials based on the Alberta Education German Language Arts Program of Studies (2005). These curriculum-aligned resources are intended to support teachers, students and families to enable students to become strong, engaged
readers.

This Teacher Handbook is intended to support teachers to:
● assess student learning relative to the reading-related outcomes of the Alberta German Language Arts Program of Studies (2005).
● design targeted teaching and learning activities to help students achieve those specific learning outcomes with a specific focus on reading.
