Reading-related Outcomes in the English Language Arts Program of Studies 2000 Grade 5

This document organizes some of the specific learning outcomes in the Alberta English Language Arts (K - 9) Program of Studies (2000) into two categories, word solving and comprehension, according to expected reading behaviours for students. These outcomes are intended to be demonstrated with an end of Grade 5 level text.
